This is a popular udon (a type of Japanese wheat flour noodle) restaurant in Tokushima prefecture of Japan. They have their branches at three locations in the prefecture, and we tried one of them located near Oasahiko shrine and Ryozenji (Icihiban Fudasho, the first temple of the famous Shikoku pilgrimage, around 10 to 20 minute walk).

Their udon is very soft and thin compared to famous Sanuki undon, and a little like "Inaniwa udon" from Akita prefecture located up north of Japan.  You can order a bowl of udon with some fried fish/vegetables.  They also sell oden.  You can grab what you want from the hotpot and you just need to tell them what you had upon payment.

We will for sure be back here.
