Ashiya in Hyogo prefecture of Japan is known to be a high class residential area. The area north of JR Ashiya railway station which I visited this time round is quite nice area which you hardly see similar atmosphere elsewhere. Bigot is located in the area and the shop sells several types of sandwiches and bread. According to their web site, they are specialised in French bread. I was staying at a hotel near the shop and since having breakfast here is much cheaper than having one in my hotel, and having it here might be nicer, so I gave it a try.
Their sandwiches are above average although I was expecting too much upon my visit. You can take away sandwirches or you can have them in the shop and you can order coffees if you want. They open at 7:00. I am sure I will back here again when I am around the area.
