I finally visited the famous fisherman restaurant to local people in Naruto city of Tokushima prefecture in Japan, called "Pin Pin Tei".
The restaurant is located by the coast of Harima Nada (播磨灘) sea, along Awa highway. It will be a nice drive way on a fine day coming from either Naruto city or Kagawa prefecture. Although the restaurant is located in Naruto city of Tokushima prefecture, it is mere several hundred metres away from Kagawa prefecture.
The restaurant itself is not a modern trendy restaurant but it is a nice, small cosy place, and is a kind of restaurants we used to see a lot in Japan. Next to the eating place is a small fish market where the owner keeps various kinds of fish and seafood. I believe the owner is or used to be a fisherman as well.
We ordered a couple of Sashimi teishoku (raw fish set) and Pin Pin teishoku which comes with sashimi and tempura.
The food is very affordable and fish are very fresh and nice. It is a little far from any of the city centres and a little difficult to get there unless you have a car, but it is worth coming here to try their food.

How to Get There: If you are not driving, you can take a train, Kotoku Line (高徳線) from Tokushima (徳島) station and get off at Sanuki Aioi station (讃岐相生駅), then you can take a taxi there (about 3 km). It takes approximately one hour from Tokushima station after catching a train.
