This is a near perfect Japanese seafood eatery for me. Their seafood is fresh, and prices are reasonable. This eatery is run by a fish shop and located at the second floor of the shop itself. You have to order and pay before going up the stairs. It is a little hard to find exactly where the eatery is but it is between fish shops. Look for the signboard "柳橋食堂". I am sure I will be back here again whenever visiting Fukuoka.
Note: the area where the eatery is locate is a very old market and a very interesting place to walk around.

| Absolutely cheap and nice Ootoro Don ('fatty tuna on rice). If I remember correctly it was 1,700 yen. They have a bunch of interesting items on their menu. |
