I used to go to their branches in Singapore and since we saw Din Tai Fung on the 12th floor of Hankyu Umeda department store in Osaka, Japan, we decided to give it a try.  

Back in Singapore we usually ordered their Xiao Long Bao mainly together with some dumplings, and sometimes their noodles or fried rice.  This time around, since they have lunch set menus, we ordered them.  To sum up, their food was not bad at all, but they are a little more costly, and a little less tasty.  

We might come back if we were hungry enough to try their food again.  

We spent 4,201 yen for two lunch set.

Hot and sour soup noodle (酸辣湯). 

A little pity, only four pieces...
