It had been so many years since I last visited the city of Kobe.  It was around 6 PM and we went into a department store, Sogo Kobe, for dinner and shopping.  When we reached its second "restaurants" floor, we found that all the restaurants were somehow related to Tokyo and were wondering why we had to eat Tokyo food while being in Kobe. Anyway we are no longer staying in Tokyo and had not been there for a couple of months, so we decided give it a try.

We decided to go into a Soba restaurant, Yabusoba.  We ordered a Seiro Soba (cold soba) and Tempura Soba (soba with deep fried vegetables and seafood).  Both were so yummy and Tempura Soba was just like the one you have in Tokyo.  deep fried veges and seafood are just nicely done and its soup is very tasty.    We were surprised to know that you can have real Tokyo soba in Kobe.  We will for sure come back this restaurant.
